Rachel Pelisson, MS, RDN, LDN, CNSC, CHC is a Holistic Health & Wellness Coach, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and a Balanced Body Pilates® certified instructor. Healing the Hungry Soul is her private practice offering health and wellness support for individuals of all kinds.
Rachel earned a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from New York University. Prior to starting her own practice, she worked as a dietitian and clinical manager in hospitals in New York and Massachusetts. Rachel holds certifications in pediatric nutrition, weight management, health coaching, and nutrition support.
Rachel grew up horseback riding, and is an active equestrian competitor today. She discovered a love for Pilates after realizing how beneficial it was as a method of cross-training for riding and other sports. Her combined experience in nutrition, holistic health, and fitness programs like Pilates, makes her a great resource for anyone looking to improve their life through diet, fitness, and a mindful approach to living.

Rachel has a very genuine, supportive energy when she’s working with her clients, whether on a mat at the beach or in the private setting of a dietary counseling session. She is extremely knowledgeable about the body, and what it needs to be healthy and strong. Her warm, energetic approach to bringing that knowledge to her clients makes them feel supported, as well as inspired, because the practical tools she offers for everyday wellness are simple and fun.
